Hur använder jag echolink på våran repeater? Allmän information: Repeater: SK5UM-R Node: 271125 Frekvens: 434,750 + 432,750 MHz = (- 2 MHz shift)
Våran repeater använder SVX link programvaran (=Linux) och när man vill använda echolink behöver man sk. DTMF toner. Varje kommando ska man avsluta med fyrkant (#).

OBS! Kommandon timeout är 10 sec. Dvs. om ingen DTMF ton är mottagen inom 10 sek., blir mottagningsbuffert rensat.
Öppna repeater: använd 1750 Hz eller DTMF ”5” ton. Echolink kommando: - * (stjärna) indikation av node (=SK5UM) Men bara om den är skickat som ända DTMF ton. Annars är den en del av kommandon. - 0 (noll) + # (fyrkant) = Hjälp funktion, använd hjälp funktionen när du behöver allmänt information om systemet eller om du har glömt någon kommandon. - 1 (ett) + # (fyrkant) = papegoja funktion, repeterar all du sänder. Kan man använda som simplex repeater eller att testa hur din modulation låter. Man avslutar kommando med # (fyrkant) igen. - 2 (två) + # (fyrkant) = anslutning till echolink. När man vill ansluta till andra echolink stationer öppnar man echolink genom att använda detta kommando. Sen slå man stationens node nummer man vill ansluta till och avslutar med # (fyrkant) igen. Efter QSO:n avslutar man med # (fyrkant), nu är förbindelse med andra stationen stängt. Sen avslutar man echolink funktionen genom att använda # (fyrkant) igen! - # (fyrkant) är att avsluta ett/varje kommando.
Förebild: Tryck PTT + DTMF ”5” = repeater öppnar Tryck PTT + DTMF ”2” + ”#” = anslutning till echolink Tryck PTT + DTMF ”123456” + ”#” = echolink stationens node nummer Man få nu förbindelse och kan börja en QSO, efter QSO:n avslutar man med: Tryck PTT + DTMF ”#” = förbindelse med echolink station blir avstängd. Tryck PTT + DTMF ”#” igen = echolink kommando är avsluten och man kommer tillbaka till repeater.

This part of the documentation describes how to use the svxlink server via the radio interface. SvxLink is controlled by DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) signalling. All commands to the system ends with the number sign.(#)

Note: There is a command time-out that is 10 seconds. If no DTMF characters has been received for 10 seconds, the reception buffer will be cleared.
To open the repeater: use 1750 Hz tone or DTMF nr.”5” Echolink commands: - * (star) identification of node (=SK5UM). However, identification is only performed if the star is entered as the only DTMF character. If digits are received, before or after, it will be considered to be part of a command. - 0 (zero) is Help Module = used to get help about the system as a whole and also help about each specific module. Send the ID number of the module to get help about. - 1 (one) is the Parrot Module = plays back everything you say. This can be used as a simplex repeater or just to hear how you sound to the other stations. It also tells you the DTMF digits you press. As always, end all DTMF strings with the number sign. Exit the module by sending just the number sign. - 2 (two) is the EchoLink Module = used to connect to other EchoLink stations. To connect to another station, just enter the node number ended with a #. To disconnect, press #. To exit the module, press # when not connected.
Press PTT + DTMF ”5” = repeater Example: opens. Press PTT + DTMF ”2” + ”#” = connection to echolink. Press PTT + DTMF ”123456” + ”#” = echolink stations node number Your are now connected and can start a QSO, after QSO you have to disconnect with: Press PTT + DTMF ”#” = connection with echolink station will be disconnected Press PTT + DTMF ”#” again = echolink module is closed and you are back on the repeater.
